BROMSGROVE SC won the latest National Arena League gala in Nottingham at the weekend to boost their chance of challenging for promotion from Division Three.
Despite losing members through injuries and illness before Saturday’s event, Bromsgrove battled hard to win 17 of the 60 races to take first place with 230 points.
Head coach Matthew Low said: “Our swimmers pulled together and produced a fantastic result.
“I am proud of every single one of them.”
Two years after finishing third-from-bottom, Bromsgrove are now challenging for promotion to Division Two.
The final round is on December 9 when Bromsgrove will be hoping they can win a third successive gala in the National Arena League.
