Bromsgrove Prep School student Langford is crowned Moseley Junior Champion

Bromsgrove Editorial 16th Feb, 2017   0

MEGAN LANGFORD has been crowned Moseley Junior Champion which caps off an incredible golfing year for the Bromsgrove Prep School student.

The 13-year-old, who plays at Blackwell and Moseley Golf Clubs, followed up her Junior Open in Bristol with victory in Moseley to become the first female recipient of the trophy which is somewhat fitting as Moseley GC enters its 125th year.

Megan first picked up a golf club at the age of five and since then she has gone from strength to strength, completing her Young Master’s golf course, achieving distinction at every level.

As a young female golfer, Megan has received incredible support from everyone she has met in the game and has been invited to attend the Hereford and Worcester County Golf Training Academy and called up for the county teams.

Megan is delighted and grateful to be coached by Tom Warbrick at Bromsgrove as well as the girls’ county coaching team headed by Russ Adam at Gaudet Luce Golf Club in Droitwich.

In addition to her success, Megan’s aim for 2017 is to become a single figure handicapper.
