BROMSGROVE Men’s B moved to the top of the table with a 4-0 victory over Barnt Green B.
In the opening round, Jaspal Saimbi teamed up with junior Stuart Shannon and won their first rubber 6-1, 6-3.
Matt Smith and Jeth Tomlinson had a tougher affair, losing the first set 6-3 but took the second 7-5 before running out 7-6 winners in the nail-biting deciding set.
In the second round, Saimbi and Shannon cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 victory while Smith and Tomlinson won their games 7-5, 6-1.
Victory for Bromsgrove has opened up a ten-point gap at the top of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Winter League Division Three East table.
Meanwhile, the Ladies C team got back to winning ways in Division Five East with a 3-1 victory over Cutnall Green B, a result which moved them to the top of the table.
Steph Armstrong and Beccy Smith were in great form as they wrapped up two straight set wins.
They won the first rubber 6-4, 6-2 before winning the second 6-0, 6-3.
Lorraine Russell and Claudia Bullock had a tougher time.
They fought back from losing their opening set 6-0 before winning a tight third set battle 7-6 to clinch the first rubber.
However, they then lost the second rubber 6-4, 6-2.
