FIVE members of Bromsgrove Hockey Club’s under-14s have been selected to join the Birmingham Performance Centre (BPC).
Lola Bryant, Isobel Bridge, Callum Savage, Hannah Sahota and Imogen Vaughan-Hawkins were nominated by their Worcestershire coaches to attend the Midland Performance Centre Assessment at Cannock Hockey Club where they impressed BPC officials.
The quintet will join the BPC in September and will have access to not only elite coaching, but will also have the opportunity to play against teams representing other performance centres across the country throughout the 2017/18 season.
Under-14 coach Peter Bryant said: “This a remarkable achievement for so many to be selected from one club.
“It is testament to the hard work and talent each of these children have displayed over the past few years and we wish them well.”
