STOKE Prior Crown Green Bowling Club enjoyed their best results for many years following the conclusion of the 2023 season.
The club, based at Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club, saw three of its teams win promotion in their respective leagues.
And the club’s Heart of England Thursday B team went the entire season undefeated, winning all 14 of their matches, while the Thursday A team also topped their division.
The Over 60’s team won a thrilling season finale by a single shot to claim second place in their league and gain promotion in the process.
However, the club’s Over 60’s team in the South and West Birmingham League had to settle for a third place finish, just missing out on promotion.
And the two teams playing in the Warwick and Worcester and Yardley Wood leagues managed to retain their places in their respective divisions.
The club gained many new members, both men and women, last term and are open to new members ahead of next season.
