Beck hits nine as Bromsgrove Corinthians thump Stourport Allstars 15-0

ALEX BECK was on cloud nine as his treble hat-trick guided Bromsgrove Corinthians to an emphatic 15-0 victory at Stourport Allstars in the first round of the Kidderminster Hospital Minor Cup.

Tom Mason also bagged four goals while Michael Price and Edward Tear completed Corinthians’ scoring.

Jamie Hatfield struck three times as Studley Lions cruised to a 6-0 victory over Spennells United.

Marc Jovanovic, Nick Briggs and Thomas Blewett were also on target.




In an 11-goal thriller at the Charford Recreation Ground, Millfield Rovers bowed out of the cup in a 7-4 defeat to Royal Exchange.

Ryan Wood (2), Ash Roland and Darran Roland with the goals for Rovers.


Winyates enjoyed a 3-2 victory at Moyston Rangers while Chaddesley Ravens defeated Moyston Rangers Reserves 3-1.

Awkies Allstars bowed out at the first stage in a 2-1 home defeat to Sporting Rangers while Spa Athletic succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Roebuck.

In the Junior Cup, Chaddesley Corbett knocked out Tap House Rangers 4-3 on penalties after the sides had been deadlocked at 3-3 after extra-time.

Dan Sill (2) and Ryan Field were on the scoresheet in Sporting Club Redditch’s 3-1 victory over Alveley Sports while Meadow Park beat Sporting Club 4-1.

In the sole Bromsgrove & Redditch Standard Shield clash, BGIS Fairfield and Red Lion shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw in Group C.

Dan Bearcroft and Ben Rogers gave Lions a 2-0 lead before Alex Dugmore and Carl Martin salvaged a point for the hosts.

Bromsgrove Athletico are through to the semi-finals of the Division One Cup after securing a 5-1 victory over Sporting Grapevine.

Tom Keogh bagged a treble and Sam Wright struck twice for Athletico.

Will Bacchus hit a hat-trick in Lickey End Social’s 4-0 victory over Cofton Old Boys in the Rose Bowl quarter-finals.

Adam Ward completed Social’s scoring.

Crown Athletic are also through to the last four after beating Hewell 8-7 on penalties after the two sides were locked at 2-2.

Meadow Park Youth picked up their first point in Group A of the Bridgwater Cup after holding Rubery Legends to a 1-1 draw.

Chaddesley Corbett Pensioners look to be the team to beat in Group B as the leaders ran out 6-3 victors at Royal Eagles, thanks to goals from Adam Simpson (2), Al Parkinson, Damo Ash, Nathan Steward and Paul Edwards.

Kings Norton Sporting enjoyed a 5-2 success at Stoke Prior in Group C while Redditch Borough Sunday beat Arrow Valley 3-1 in Group D.

George Morris (2) and Ty Bailey the scorers for Borough.
