AVONCROFT crashed to a crushing eight-wicket defeat to Worcestershire County League Division Three leaders Lye last Saturday.
Croft were put into bat but only Will Sach (33), Josh Cound (13), Luke Townsend (10) and Paul Athey (11) broke into double figures as the visitors were skittled out for a paltry 99.
Ansar Mahmood (3-13), Irfan Ahmad (2-21) and Waqas Ahmed (2-36) shared the majority of the wickets.
Lye were at 75-2 after the departures of Nadeem Hussain (4) and Ratnesh Sahni (13), leaving Tanzeel Rehman (47 not out) and Ahmed (23no) to tick of the winning runs as the hosts closed on 99-2 inside 15 overs.
Croft will hope to end their four-game winless run on Saturday when they play host to Eastnor.
