BROMSGROVE School’s under-13 boys secured an historic victory at the National Prep Schools Cross Country Championships held at Malvern College.
The boys are the first team in Bromsgrove Prep School’s history to win the Championships after a phenomenal effort from the squad.
Bromsgrove’s under-13 girls finished in an impressive seventh place despite most of the girls being a year younger than the category age limit.
And Bromsgrove’s under-11 boys placed 30th whilst their under-11 girls were 37th.
This meant Bromsgrove Preparatory School finished third overall, in the country, from the combined scores of their respective teams.
All of the participants faced an extremely tough hilly course that tested pupils to their maximum.
The junior course was 2.8km in distance and the senior course 3.2km as year five to year eight pupils took part in the Championships.
