GENERATIONS came together in Rednal during a Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Street Party.

More than 100 neighbours of all ages turned out for the traditional event.

The fun-packed day included craft tents for the children, a design a medal and design a crown competition, colouring in, chalks, bubbles and traditional games.

As well as bard games, youngsters also enjoyed hopscotch and skipping and there was a tombola.

Live music was provided by Loynells Road’s very own DJ and a barbecue was provided by Stuart.

Everyone wants to thank Sally and family – the main organisers, Stuart and his family for the barbecue and Kerry and her family for the generous donation so everyone could have ice creams.

Faye Young, who sent in these pictures, said: “It was an amazing day from start to finish with a real community spirit.

“And there was some fantastic team work by all of us with great contributions and merriment.”
