CHILDREN from Charford First School got in festive mood at their annual Christmas Fair on December 12, writes Ryan Smith.
The youngsters enjoyed activities including painting rocks and bottle flipping, while parents could take part in a Christmas prize draw with winners receiving anything from £100 in cash to cafe vouchers and Christmas hampers.
The children were also paid a visit from Santa Claus and Gareth Worton, the community champion from Morrison’s Bromsgrove.
Students from North Bromsgrove High School and members of the PFA (Parents and Friends Association) attended to help and encourage the youngsters to take part in the fun.
The funds raised from the fair will go towards costs for a defibrillator to be installed at the school and an outdoor library.
