A PHOTOGRAPHER for Bromsgrove Sporting F.C. will be doing an obstacle run in Birmingham to raise money for his friend who was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma.
Tom Fuszard met Sophie, both 17, at Halesowen College through mutual friends.
Sophie was suddenly diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma which is a an uncommon cancer that develops in the lymphatic system – a network of vessels and glands throughout a person’s body.
Throughout her treatment she has been supported by the Teenage Cancer Trust and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
Tom said: “She is a very close friend. I want to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust as they have been exceptional for Sophie.
“I am very excited for this run because it will be a fun day surrounded by other people who have similar fundraising interests.
“I want to raise as much money as I possibly can but the target on my JustGiving page is £500. We are so close!”
