A BROMSGROVE based art charity is calling on youngsters to submit artwork for its latest competition.

The Young Creators Online Exhibition, led by Creative Art Showcase (CAS), calls for young artists of all genres and disciplines to showcase their work following the theme of ‘Imagination Unlimited’.

Original artwork from winners and runners-up will be displayed as part of CAS’ Showcase 23, Art from the Heart Exhibition in October and voucher prizes will also be awarded.

Entrants can create their artwork from home or attend Easter workshops being held between 10.30am and 3pm from Wednesday to next Monday, April 5 to 10, at Avoncroft Museum.

Claire Allington, the project’s manager, said: “We want everyone to encourage anyone they know who is under 18 to join in – this is for young people of all abilities to get creative, have fun and we will showcase their amazing artwork.”

All entries must be submitted by midnight on April 21.

Entrants must be under 18.

All entries will be featured via the CAS website between June 1 and 30 as part of the Online Exhibition. Judges will select a winner and runner-up per age group to feature in the full exhibition in October.

The Creative Art showcase will also be at the BDHT family fundays in Wythall on April 5 and Burcot on April 12.
