A YELLOW weather warning has been issued for snow and ice in parts of Bromsgrove District and South Birmingham.
According to the Met Office, some areas, including Lickey, Rubery and south west Birmingham, have a 50 to 60 per cent chance of snow at 8pm, 9pm and 11pm.
This increases to 80 to 90 per cent at midnight. Temperatures will drop to -1°C.
People are being urged to allow more time for journeys.
The wintry showers are forecast to turn to sleet in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
The weather warning is in place until midday tomorrow (Sunday).
