Ye Olde Black Cross management bid farewell to loyal customers

Bromsgrove Editorial 9th Jun, 2023   0

BROMSGROVE’S oldest trading pub, Ye Olde Black Cross, is changing hands next Wednesday.

New management will take on the pub as the licensee Josh and manager Ty, Josh’s brother, look to progress into new roles in hotel and pub management.

Josh became licensee in 2019 and has since taken on the Pillar of Salt in Droitwich, passing on the reigns to Ty.

The licensee wants to thank his customers and hopes they will join him and his staff for a leaving party to celebrate their pub one last time tonight (Friday, June 9).

Josh said: “I’m proud of the community feel we’ve created, I’ll cherish our work with local charities and will miss the community feel of the pub during Sunday lunch.

“Thanks to everyone for their support over the years – we hope our successor keeps everyone happy and continues to make the pub a place of community.”
