POLICE have released these images of two men they want to speak to in connection with a sexual assault on a woman which happened in a taxi after she left a Rednal pub.

The incident took place on June 29 after the victim had been in the Old Hare and Hounds, Lickey Road.

She was travelling home with a group of people in the early hours of the morning in the taxi when the attack happened.

Officers have spoken to witnesses who were at the pub that evening and are now appealing the public in a bid to identify the two men captured on the CCTV footage.

DC Karl Mumby, from West Midlands Police’s public protection unit, said: “This lady was preyed upon by someone who took the opportunity to sexually assault her when she was incapable of defending herself.

“We have trawled CCTV images from that evening and we are now asking for the public’s help to identify the two men in the images.”

Anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
