A WOMAN was taken to hospital this morning after she was hit by a car in Northfield.
The incident happened on Merritts Hill, near the junction of Genners Lane at 8.04am.
It is believed the van was reversing to park and hit the woman as she crossed the road.
She was treated at the scene before being taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a precautionary measure. Her injuries were not serious.
