Bromsgrove Editorial 28th Sep, 2023 Updated: 28th Sep, 2023   0

HEAVY rain is set to continue throughout the night across Bromsgrove, Rubery and south Birmingham.

It is forecast to come to an end around 2am, making way for drier weather and even a bit of sunshine just in time for the morning commute or school run.

The sunshine, although intermittent, is set to continue throughout the day.

Although it will feel chillier of late, temperatures are set to be between 14°C and 17°C – about average for this time of year.

There is an outside chance of an isolated shower popping up in the afternoon butit should remain mostly dry.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday

There should be a chilly but fine start to Saturday ahead of rain pushing through overnight with winds strengthening again.

It will be rather cloudy with occasional showers on Sunday and Monday.

Although we will then be in October, it is forecast to turn milder which should help stave off the urge to turn the heating on.
