SLEET and snow could fall across Bromsgrove, Rubery and South Birmingham as temperatures plummet overnight.
The mercury is set to drop to just 1∘C in Rubery and 2∘C in Bromsgrove.
The Met Office has warned that rain and hill snow, followed by clearing skies, will lead to the risk of icy patches on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
There is currently a 70 to 90 per cent chance snow will fall between 4am and 6am in Rubery and south Birmingham.

There is an 80 per cent chance of sleet in Bromsgrove around 3am, rising to 90 per cent between 4am and 5am.

This comes as a yellow weather warning for ice has been announced across Worcestershire overnight.
When asked about plans for gritting, a Worcestershire County Council spokesperson said: “We are regularly monitoring the situation throughout this evening and the early hours of tomorrow and the gritters will go out if required.”
