RESIDENTS in Hagley are being warned to be on their guard after a man was seen driving around the area in a van looking at houses and gardens.
The incident happened at 3.41pm on Friday in Western Road.
The man was around 40 years old, black and driving a car which had a registration plate ending in XUD.
Police say when he was noticed he sped off eratically and left the area.
Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
