DRIVERS in Hagley are being warned to be on their guard after three cars were stolen overnight.

A black Audi with the partial registration ‘RDZ’, a black Mini (reg ‘GXU) and a black BMW (reg RMU) were all taken.

The thieves burgled a property in Station Road.

The raiders broke in through the back door.

People living in the area with CCTV or video doorbells have been urged to check their footage to see if they captured anything which could help the investigation.

Between March 15 and 16, a BMW with the partial registration ‘NZC’ was stolen from Cavendish Drive in Hagley.

Police offer a variety of vehicle crime prevention advice here. Officers suggest motorists use good quality steering locks, do not make keys easily accessible and for keyless car owners to keep fobs in metal tins or Faraday pouches so the signal cannot be captured by potential thieves.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Hagley and Rubery Police Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101.
