BROMSGROVE shoppers are being warned to be on their guard after a suspected purse theft in the town centre yesterday.
And the Safer Neighbourhood Team has revealed PCSO Julie Wright will be out on the High Street today to raise awareness and hand out free purse bells.
The bells are attached to purses and if someone attempts to remove them they ring, alerting the owner.
Witnesses or anyone with any information on yesterday’s purse theft or others should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
