TWO GIRLS, aged 12 and 13, were reportedly approached by an Asian man in a blue car in Frankley.

The incident happened on Holly Hill Road around 8.20pm on November 10.

The girls walked off and asked a woman for help.

West Midlands Police said they wanted to reassure people as there had been no similar reports in the area.

But officers urged parents to reinforce the ‘stranger danger’ message and to call the police in they notice any suspicious activity or other similar incidents.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify the driver.

Police officers in Frankley are patrolling the area and are working with local schools to help with the investigation.

Anyone with any information should call police on 101 or 999 if it is an emergency or the crime is currently happening.
