Waitrose looking to fill 50 jobs at its new Bromsgrove store

WAITROSE is set to start recruiting for 50 jobs for its new Bromsgrove store tomorrow.

The 6,000sq ft supermarket, which will open in late spring at the junction of Hanover Street, Kidderminster Road and St John’s Street, is seeking local people for customer service, hospitality and supermarket assistant roles.

Working with Jobcentre Plus as part of the process to provide interview opportunities for unemployed people, recruitment is to get underway tomorrow (Friday, February 17) with interviews expected to take place in the coming weeks.

All successful applicants will become Partners in the John Lewis Partnership, the UK’s oldest and largest employee owned business which will entitle them to benefits, including learning and leisure subsidies, shopping discounts and more.




Waitrose resourcing consultant, Sarah Duncan, said: “”We are excited to be coming to Bromsgrove and have been delighted by the interest already shown in joining our business.
