A PUB of the Year competition organised by Bromsgrove MP Bradley Thomas is returning for 2026, writes Toby Almond.
Pubs and bars across the district can nominate themselves to be in the running for the top title.
The Pub of the Year contest proved extremely popular in its inaugural outing after its launch last year.
The event celebrates the contribution pubs make to the economy and local communities.
Last year, 18 pubs from across the town and surrounding villages took part, and almost 1,000 votes were cast by local residents.
Mr Thomas said: “Pubs in Bromsgrove and the villages are at the heart of our communities where we eat, drink and meet friends and family.
“It remains a challenging time for our pubs, so it’s vital we celebrate the contribution they make – not just to our economy, but to our communities too.
“Pubs are under more pressure than ever before with hospitality venues facing a hike in business rates after the Budget in November.
“I look forward to receiving your nominations and to once again celebrating our pubs.”
Bremi’s in Aston Fields was crowned Bromsgrove and the village’s Pub of the Year in 2025.
Social Sticks on Station Street finished in second place and Bayley’s of Bromsgrove on Worcester Road came third.

The public vote will open on Thursday, February 6, after the nominations close.
