Volunteers needed for next stage of rehabilitation on Lickey Hills following its devastating fire

Bromsgrove Editorial 19th Oct, 2022   0

VOLUNTEERS are being sought to assist the Lickey Hills Rangers with the next stage of the rehabilitation of Rednal Hill following the devastating fire in July, which burnt acres of land at the beauty spot.

The rangers are looking for people to assist in re-seeding the heathland with heather seed, which has recently been brought over from Sutton Park.

People are urged to meet on Rednall Hill on October 20 at 1pm if they wish to get involved.

For those unfamiliar with the area, Rednall Hill can be accessed by walking up the track next to the shops on Lickey Road.

Visit the Lickey Hill Facebook page or email [email protected] for more information.
