STUDENTS from North Bromsgrove High School produced this poignant video of the National Day of Reflection which took place today -one year on from the start of the Coronavirus lockdown.
Featuring Supermarket Flowers by Ed Sheeran, the video shows the pupils paying tribute to all those who have died during the pandemic, along with some of the artwork created especially for the day.
The National Day of Reflection – led by Marie Curie – saw a minute’s silence held across the country at midday and at 8pm this evening, people stood on their doorsteps with candles or using lights from their phones to create a ‘Beacon of Hope’.
It was aimed at remembering those who had died and to hopefully look forward to a brighter future.
