THE GREAT British Pub Crawl vlogger Dale Harvey headed to Bromsgrove yesterday (Friday) to give his verdict on the pubs across the district.
Usually accompanied by his real ale loving partner Holly Booth, Dale started at midday, visiting 15 pubs and other venues during his hours in the town.
His quest was to answer his age old question: ‘Can you have a good night out in Bromsgrove?’
His journey started at the Ewe and Lamb in Stoke Heath, which he described as ‘an absolute stunner of a bistro/bar/restaurant place’ before heading to the Black Country Ales pub ‘The Hanbury Turn’.

Dales journey then took him to The Ladybird Inn by Bromsgrove Station in Aston Fields, announcing he had ‘so far had three out of three top notch pubs’.
After a stop at the Court Leet Hungry Horse pub, he went to Bromsgrove’s oldest pub ‘Ye Olde Black Cross’ which dates back to 1640 when it was a coaching inn.
Dale then went to Bayleys, The Golden Cross Hotel Wetherspoons and onto the Verraco Lounge.
Taking a break from the pubs, he crossed the High Street to the Decanter Spirit cocktail bar and spirit shop.

His final stops in the town centre took Dale to ‘The Red Lion’, ‘ The Slug & Lettuce’ and ‘The Old Post Office’.
And, concluding his journey, he headed up Birmingham Road and visited ‘The Hop Pole Inn’ and The Crabmill.

Summing up his supping up, Dale said: “Bromsgrove has been brilliant.”
He then vowed to be back in the future to visit the many other pubs across the district.
