Vehicle stolen at knifepoint in Worcestershire and crashed in Longbridge

A CAR stolen at knifepoint in Worcestershire and crashed in Longbridge has prompted a police appeal for witnesses who may have seen the crash.

The Ford Fiesta, partial reg WJO, was stolen at knifepoint in Goodrest Lane, near Wythall in Worcestershire at about 7pm on Tuesday (May 2) before being crashed on Groveley Lane, Longbridge.

Offenders produced a knife and threatened the female owner in Goodrest Lane before driving off with her car and later crashing the vehicle on Groveley Lane near a row of houses by Primrose Court.

Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to the incident.
