RAIL services are now running between Barnt Green and Redditch again after the earlier disruption caused by a broken down train on the track.
The incident was reported late last night but took operator West Midlands Railway more than nine hours to rectify the situation.
Rail replacement buses operated during the interim, ferrying passengers from Longbridge to Barnt Green, Alvechurch and Redditch.
West Midlands Railway apologised for any inconvenience caused.
The 9.05am service from Longbridge and the 9.32am from Redditch were the first trains to travel on the track since last night.
