A MAN has been arrested at an address in Catshill, Bromsgrove, and taken into custody.

Officers were called to the address on Milton Road around 9.20am this morning.

Police found a 38-year-old man wanted in connection with a fraud by false representation offence dating back to 2019.

Milton Road and some of the surrounding ones, including The Dock, Byron Way and Powick Close, were cordoned off as the officers worked to make the arrest.

That has now been done safely and successfully and all the roads are open.

West Mercia Police want to thank local residents for their patience during the closures.

The Standard was contacted by several residents earlier who got in touch because they were concerned about the large uniformed presence in the area and the cordon.
