A MAN in his 20s has died after a serious collision in Northfield on Monday.
The incident happened on Norrington Road around 4pm.
Two ambulances and a MERIT trauma doctor, with a Critical Care Paramedic attended the scene.
The man, who is in his 20s, received specialist trauma care at the scene before being taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He had since died from his injuries.
West Midlands Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is currently working to establish exactly what happened.
Sgt Rich Evans from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This is a tragic incident, where a young man has lost his life and our thoughts remain with his family and everyone who knew him.
“We have specially trained officers supporting his family and are continuing to investigate exactly what happened.
“I want to again ask anyone with any dashcam or doorbell footage, or who witnessed the incident to please come forward and speak to us.”
Officers are urging anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision or anyone who has any dash cam or doorbell footage, to get in touch.
