Two women and a child taken to hospital following Romsley crash

THREE people were taken to hospital after a crash in Romsley near the former Manchester Inn pub.

The two-car collision happened around 8.35am yesterday morning at the junction of Dayhouse Bank and Bromsgrove Road.

Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended.

The driver of one of the cars, a woman, was treated for potentially serious injuries and was taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.




A woman who was driving one of the other cars was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and a boy, who was the front seat passenger in one of the cars, was also treated for injuries not believed to be serious.

The pair were taken by ambulance to Russell’s Hall Hospital.


A fire crew from Bromsgrove attended the incident and made the vehicles safe.
