Two men taken to hospital with stab wounds after incident in Worcester City Centre

TWO MEN have been taken to hospital with stab wounds following an incident on Saturday evening in Worcester City Centre.

It happened at 7.14pm when the men were found near the fire station on Copenhagen Street.

Officers believe the incident happened near the fountains on Copenhagen Street and think another man may have been injured.

They are currently trying to locate him.




Det Ch Insp Ian Wall said: “Our priority at the moment is to check on the welfare of another man we believe was injured in this incident.

“I’d urge anyone with information that could help us to locate this man to contact us as a matter of urgency.


“An investigation has been launched to establish exactly what has occurred.”

He urged anyone who was in Worcester City Centre and witnessed the incident or anyone with information which could help the police should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
