TWO MEN have been arrested after three car-key burglaries in Bromsgrove and Stourport.
The thieves snapped the locks overnight before taking keys and cars.
At one of the addresses, they stole a Fiat 500 Abarth and at another an Audi TT R8.
The pair – both from Birmingham – were detained and arrested in Shirley, Solihull.
They have been charged with conspiring to commit burglary with intent to steal and conspiring to steal a motor vehicle. They appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today.
The arrests were made by officers from Worcestershire Operational Patrol Unit. The detentions were part of Operation Enzyme – a drive to cut down on vehicle theft across North Worcestershire. It also targets those committing car-key burglaries.
