THE DRIVERS of a lorry and a van were stopped in Hagley within five minutes of each other after being caught using their mobile phones at the wheel.

They were caught yesterday by officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit.

The police have urged people to put their mobile phones away whilst driving so they are not tempted to pick them up.

Being caught using a mobile phone at the wheel incurs six penalty points and a £200 fine.
