A MAN had to be cut from his car after a crash on the M5 near Bromsgrove this morning.
It happened at 7.34am on the southbound carriageway between Junction 4 and Junction 4a (for the M42).
Three fire crews attended – one from West Midlands Fire Service, one from Droitwich and one from Redditch.
After being freed from the vehicle he was found to be uninjured. The ambulance service was called but was stood down.
The collision was one of two which happened within 20 minutes of each other.
At 7.14am there was a crash on the northbound carriageway between Junction 4 (Lydiate Ash) and Junction 3 (Halesowen).
One woman was collision and also escaped unhurt.
Four fire crews – two from West Midlands Fire Service and one each from Bromsgrove and Redditch – attended.
