Three calves killed on Frankley farm in bid to steal them

A FRANKLEY farmer has had three of their cow calves killed in an attempt to steal them.

The offenders killed three calves on Park Farm, Church Hill near Egg Hill Lane but were interrupted before they could steal the animals.

It is believed offenders were on sight for some time from midnight on Monday, September 11 due to the nature of the injuries to the calves.

West Mercia Police have urged anyone who saw suspicious activity near Frankley Hill Lane or Egg Hill Lane around the time of the incident to call 101.
