Two Bromsgrove fitness firms join forces to offer residents new 'Crinja Warriors' obstacle course

TWO Bromsgrove fitness businesses have joined forces to give residents the chance to take part in a course based on an outdoor obstacle course.

The ‘Crinja Warriors’ course has been launched by Petra Boddington, who owns Perpetual Wellbeing in Kidderminster Road, and Ian Northcott BEM from Mercian Nordic Walking.

Petra said: “I built the obstacle course to offer something very different and I liked the way Ian has the ethos of exercise for all in a fun and enthusiastic environment.

“We both started our businesses at about the same time and we are both passionate about engaging people in exercise who were not previously interested or motivated.”

Ian said his Nordic Walking group offered much more than the walking itself and this was another welcome edition.

“We play games to keep fit, we walk, we do circuits and boot camps.

“Above all we laugh and focus on what people can do not what they can’t.

“Everything I do is about empowering the individual.

“When I saw Petra’s obstacle course I knew my clients, and hopefully some new people, will be inspired to give it a go.”
