BROMSGROVE School is holding a concert for a trio of Midlands ensembles next weekend, writes Sam Wadsworth.
Music lovers from across the district and Worcestershire are invited to enjoy an evening of music by Alcester Victoria Silver Band, The Kidderminster Valentines and the Warwickshire and Coventry Youth Brass Band.
The concert will be held at Bromsgrove school’s Routh Hall at 2pm on Saturday, February 21. The programme will feature pieces selected from musicals, the charts, classical and original brass music.

Jane Richardson, Chairman of the Warwickshire and Coventry Youth Brass Band, said: “This concert is a wonderful example of different ensembles coming together to celebrate music making across different generations.
“Performing alongside Alcester Victoria Silver Band and the Kidderminster Valentines, this is an exciting opportunity for our young players and a great experience for the audience.”

Admission to the concert is £13 for adults and £7.50 for under 16s.
