Trio of masked men armed with machetes attack man during aggravated burglary in Hagley

A TRIO of masked men armed with machetes and crowbars attacked a man during an aggravated burglary at a Hagley home.

At 01:15am on Saturday (July 15), three unknown men entered a residential property on Worcester Road holding a mixture of machetes, crowbars and wooden bats.

They entered the premises through the front door, which may have been left unlocked, and entered a downstairs bedroom situated off the main entrance hall.

The occupier of that room was then attacked and dragged into the hallway.




The men were then disturbed by the other occupants of the property and escaped via the front door.

They are described as white males, one over 6ft, the other two are smaller, in their 20’s, wearing dark clothing and face coverings.
