A NUMBER of roads are closed or blocked by fallen trees due to high winds from Storm Darragh.
We asked for reports of road closures across Bromsgrove and south Birmingham and blocked highways and have received the following reports.
Rose Hill, Lickey – Completely blocked by two fallen trees on different sections.
Shaw Lane, Stoke Prior – Road completely blocked by fallen tree.
Grovelley Lane, Cofton Hackett – Road completely blocked by fallen tree.
Harwood Park – Fallen tree blocking the road.
Silver Street, Wythall – Completely blocked by fallen tree.
Worcester Road, Hagley (between Summervale Road and Newfield Road) – Blocked.
Arden Road, Frankley – Road blocked by tree.
Barnt Green Road – Fallen tree blocking the road.
Lydiate Ash (M5) island – Traffic lights out due to power cut.
Damage has also been caused by trees falling near the A38 and the Parklands estate and near the Hare and Hounds pub.
