DRIVERS using the M5 between Bromsgrove and Quinton are being urged to allow extra time for their journeys over the next few days.

Essential resurfacing work is being carried out from Junction 4 to 3 by National Highways from 9pm to 6am between tomorrow (Thursday) and Sunday, March 12.

To enable the work to be carried out safely, the carriageway will be closed between the two junctions.

During the night-time closures there will be no access to the northbound Moto Frankley Services.

A clearly signed diversion route, agreed with the local authority, will be in place.

Further information is available from National Highways by visiting trafficengland.com and Twitter updates are also available at @HighwaysWMIDS.

For urgent real-time assistance, all the 24/7 contact centre team on 0300 123 5000.

The work is subject to change due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstances.
