DRIVERS in Bromsgrove have been warned to avoid a road where a manhole cover has become dangerously dislodged.
The Standard was contacted by motorists about the gaping hole on the roundabout near Morrisons.
One driver, Oliver Rees, said: “There were so many cars which sustained damage. leaving drivers stranded.
“I was one of them – it slashed my tyre and I’m hoping it hasn’t done any damage to the undercarriage of my car.”
Traffic Bromsgrove is also reporting several stranded motorists.
It has been suggested up to 19 vehicles sustained damage in the incident.
And drivers are being urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
