CHURCH Street in Bromsgrove has been closed due to reported Severn Trent Water works.
Independent traffic update service, Traffic Bromsgrove, announced the road closure on Twitter at about 4pm.
Previously, Traffic Bromsgrove reported long delays in the area due to temporary traffic lights on Market Street at the junction of Church Street and Crown Close. The temporary lights were also understood to be because of Severn Trent Water works.
The temporary traffic lights were removed but Church Street has sincbeen closed.
Travelers to Crabtree Lane are advised to use alternative routes via Recreation Road and Churchfields.
It is not currently known when Church Street will be re-opened.
