Tristan Harris 2nd Nov, 2021 Updated: 2nd Nov, 2021

A MAN suffered serious injury to his eye socket after a vicious assault at Rubery’s Hollywood Bowl on Saturday night.

He was playing pool with his family at the Great Park venue when he was approached by two men – around 11.30pm.

One of the pair started an argument with the family before punching the man.

The second man then attacked the family with a weapon and a glass was thrown towards them.

Three people were taken to hospital with facial injuries. They have since been discharged and are continuing to recover at home.

West Midlands Police are working with Hollywood Bowl to investigate the incident and are reviewing CCTV.

But officers want to hear from witnesses or anyone with information or video footage of the incident.

Both men were white, aged in their 20s with short dark hair.

Anyone with information should contact the police via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk or by calling 101.
