This year's Catshill Remembrance Sunday and Christmas lights switch-on to go ahead

CATSHILL’S annual Remembrance Sunday commemorations and Christmas lights switch-on will take place as planned after the events were cancelled last year due to the pandemic.

Remembrance Sunday is on November 14 this year and the annual parade and service will take place at 10.30am at the village’s war memorial at the junction of Meadow Road and Stourbridge Road.

Then on November 27, the annual Christmas lights switch-on will be held from 3pm at Catshill Village Hall.

The decisions were taken at a recent meeting of the Catshill and North Marlbrook Parish Council.

It was previously confirmed the annual bonfire and fireworks at Catshill Meadow had been cancelled, along with the Christmas Party.
