CHRISTMAS is always a special time of year, and like me, I know many readers will be looking forward to spending more time with family and friends.
Over recent weeks, communities across Bromsgrove District have celebrated the festive period. Christmas markets, concerts and festive light displays have brightened high streets and boosted local businesses.
This time of year is also busier for frontline staff in our public services. I know many of them will be working over the Christmas period to keep us safe. I’m sure all readers will join me in thanking them for their important work.
In Westminster, the Prime Minister is continuing to work hard to tackle the ongoing challenges many people face, particularly the cost-of-living. He has made welcome progress – particularly in halving inflation, but there is always more to do.
