The Oak Tree pub in Rednal has reopened with a new look following a £240k investment.
The pub’s refresh has seen a redecoration of the interior to accompany an updated bar area and downstairs function room. New amenities including a dartboard and pool table are also now available for guests.
A father and son, Stephen and Curtis Pugh, were chosen as the pubs community heroes, being given the chance to pour the first pints in the newly renovated pub.
They set up the charity, Tracey’s Dream, in memory of their wife and mother. The charity supports patients and families going through cancer by gifting comfort bears to the likes of Birmingham Hospice and the Children’s Cancer Centre.
The Marston’s pub, which recently welcomed a new landlord, is situated nearby to Lickey Hills Country Park. It also has an outdoor area.
Lee Avramovic the new landlord said, “We are so excited to open the doors of the Oak Tree and to show our wonderful guests the result of our amazing refresh. We have invested a huge £240k into breathing new life into the venue and can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back.”
The Oak Tree reopened on Monday 4th March.
