THE BROMSGROVE Society’s new season of local history and interest talks is under way and the group has decided to continue the series online on Zoom, at least until the end of the year.
The presentations take place at 7.30pm and are free to attend, although donations are welcome and registration is needed in advance.
Registration is required in advance of the talk.
On Monday, September 27, the Bromsgrove Society and Bromsgrove Court Leet have teamed up with Richard Shaw from the Battle of Worcester Society. The talk on the Battle of Worcester will commemorate 370 years since the Civil War battle on September 3, 1651.

On Tuesday, September 28, Jane Ellis presents ‘Around the UK in Classic Railway Posters’, speaking about the iconic posters over the years.
People are urged to ‘sit back in their armchair whilst Jane takes them on a guided tour around Britain’s iconic railway posters’.
A Bromsgrove Society spokesperson said: “It’ll be almost as good as a real holiday.”
