Teenager arrested over Rednal stabbing

A TEENAGER has been arrested in connection with an incident in which a man was stabbed.

The 17-year-old boy was held in Lickey Road, Rednal, at 11.25am after a foot chase by police officers. He is currently in custody on suspicion of wounding.

The incident he was arrested in connection with happened in Laughton Road, Rednal, on April 8.

The victim’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Any witnesses to the incident on April 8 or anyone who was in Toll House Road or Laughton Close on around 8.45pm on April 8 should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
